Station 11 opened in August of 2019, replacing the old Station 11 at 7980 Elmwood Lane. The 31,000 square foot superstation is one of the most progressive in the country, and was built to respond to calls faster and reach more citizens in the district. The station houses a truck, an engine, a medic unit, a safety and medical unit, a Type 3 brush truck, a Type 6 Brush Truck, the Battalion Chief command vehicle, the heavy rescue unit, and a rapid deployment craft. Station 11 houses a minimum of ten firefighters and fire medics. The station was also built as a training facility for the technical rescue team.
