Troy Williams

EMS Captain

Troy Williams was appointed EMS Captain on September 1st  2020. He began his career as a Firefighter EMT with the Federal Heights Fire Department in 1999 and attended the C.A.P.E. Paramedic program in 2001. He has been with ACFR since 2002, serving as Firefighter, Paramedic, and FTO. Captain Williams was promoted to EMS Lieutenant in 2013. He is currently a Nationally Registered Paramedic, with additional certifications in ACLS, PALS, Fire Officer, Fire and EMS Instructor, Haz-Mat Technician, and Incident= Safety Officer.

Eric Davis

Training Captain

Eric Davis was appointed Training Captain on June 1, 2020. He was a Lieutenant from 2008 until his current promotion. Eric has been in the Fire Service since 1989 and attended Red Rocks Community College where he studied Fire Science and Fire Investigations. Eric has held the ranks of Firefighter Paramedic, Lieutenant, Training Lieutenant, and Training Captain during his career. He currently holds certifications as Fire Officer I, Fire Instructor I, NFPA 1403 Live Fire Instructor, and he is also a State Certified Paramedic.

Corey Davidson

Administrative Captain

Corey Davidson was appointed Administrative Captain in 2019. Corey began his career in fire and emergency services in 1993. Previous positions are Firefighter, Paramedic, Field Training Officer, Emergency Medical Service Coordinator. Education includes AAS in Fire and Emergency Service Administration, Business Technology Management, and Professional Certification in Data Analytics from the University of Denver. In addition to managing all Business Intelligence and Information Services, Corey also serves as the district’s Accreditation Manager.

Douglas Schwindt

EMS Training Lieutenant

Douglas Schwindt was appointed EMS Training Lieutenant on May 15th, 2021. He previously has been actively involved in EMS field training for the fire service since 2003. He started his Fire/EMS career in 1982 and has been a paramedic since 1988 and is currently a State of Colorado Licensed NREMT Paramedic. He is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with honors obtaining a Masters degree in Emergency Management with an emphasis in Occupational Health and Safety.  Additionally, he has earned Business Administration Bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix.
